(Ridgecrest, California, December 30, 2006) -- NeedlessFilms' first short film, The One Long Night, is now playing on the NeedlessFilms' website at www.needlessfilms.com. It is also available on YouTube (www.youtube.com), iFilm (www.ifilm.com), Google Video (video.google.com), and Addicting Clips (www.addictingclips.com). The short is also available via a podcast from the NeedlessFilms website.
Dan Veazey stars in the title role as Jacob. The short was produced and directed by Mike Hill. The Story was written by Mike Hill & Ken Silliman with the screenplay written by Mike Hill & Dan Veazey.
The One Long Night is the story of Jacob, a troubled man trying to ignore the things that go bump in the night – and numbed to things seen from the corner of his eyes.
This first film by NeedlessFilms was designed as a test of the film-production process before the team moved on to more elaborate and important films. NeedlessFilms already has several screenplays and story ideas waiting to be translated into short and feature length films.
NeedlessFilms' next two shorts, The Dregs of Philosophy and Dichotomy of Man, are slated to be shot the first quarter of 2007.
